Rules & Regulations

The safety of our guests and staff continues to be our top priority at Santa’s Village. To ensure your visit is as safe and enjoyable as possible, we have implemented the following enhanced security procedures effective immediately:
– No coolers or outside food will be allowed inside the park*
– All guests are required to pass through metal detectors prior to entering the park
– All guests are subject to visual inspection and bag checks
– To Help Expedite Security, Please Utilize Clear/Mesh Bags or travel light.
 
Acceptable In The Park:
– Clear or Mesh Bags
– Clutch Purse or Fanny Pack Smaller than 5″x8″
– Bags Containing Medical Supplies
– Empty Water Bottles
– 2 Personal Size Beverages Per Person (Non Carbonated Only)
– 1 Snack/Piece of Fruit Per Guest – Snack Must be in a Clear Sandwich Size Bag & Cannot be in commercial packaging. Sandwiches are Not Considered A Snack.
– Diaper Bags Allowed with a Child 3 Years and Under
 

Santa’s Village Amusement Park is a family-friendly destination and guests are expected to behave properly and respect others.

For your safety and enjoyment at our park, please carefully read all the rules below. All guests will be required to follow all laws and regulations established by Santa’s Village Amusement & Water Park, the State of Illinois, County of Kane, and the Village of East Dundee.

Failure to follow park rules, regulations and instructions set forth below may result in serious injury to yourself or other individuals. Violation of park rules will result in expulsion without a refund.

 

  • All persons, bags, parcels, clothing and other items may be subject to screening/security checks and the use of metal detectors.
  • No outside food or drink is permitted*. No Glass containers.
  • No outside alcohol is permited. 
  • No Swim Wear Outside of Santa Springs.
  • No Marijuana Usage on Property.
  • Smoking & Vaping are Only Allowed in Designated Areas.
  • Line Jumping is prohibited. Line jumping is defined as cutting in line or leaving the line and trying to re-enter for any reason.
  • Conduct that is disorderly, disruptive, or in poor taste is prohibited.
  • Profanity is prohibited.
  • No running, spitting, or throwing of objects.
  • Theft of any kind will be prosecuted.
  • No Firearms, Ammunition, Knives, or Weapons of Any Kind. 
  • Pets are not allowed. Only identified service animals are permitted and must be in good conduct at all times. They must remain away from animal exhibits. Emotional support animals are not service animals.
  • For your safety, grills and other flammable items are not permitted in the park or on the premises.
  • We reserve the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that we consider inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other guests. Visible tattoos that could be considered inappropriate, such as those containing objectionable language or designs, are not permitted.
  • While in the park, footwear with soles and shirts must be worn at all times.
  • Swimwear must be covered while in the dry park.
  • No Sheer/Mesh Clothing
  • No “rollies” or “wheelies” style shoes, wheels must be retracted or removed while in the park.
  • Scooters, rollerblades, and skateboards are prohibited in the park.
  • Tickets resold or distributed by unauthorized persons will be confiscated without refund or exchange.
  • No refunds. All sales are final.
  • No solicitation or unapproved distribution of literature of materials.
  • Riders may be restricted on certain rides because of height, weight or health limitations. Ride requirements are posted at the entrance of all rides. Supervising Companion: The accompanying person must meet all the attraction requirements, as well as assist the guest. This includes helping the guest in the loading and unloading of the attraction, assisting the guest in maintaining postural control while the attraction is in motion, and assisting the guest down the stairs, catwalks, or steeply inclined ramps in case of Mechanical/Power Failure/Adverse Weather.
  • Attractions are subject to closure and/or rotating without notice.
  • Santa’s Village Amusement and Water Park is not responsible any lost stolen or damaged property, including phones, keys, wallets, glasses, jewelry, etc.

Management has the authority to implement and enforce rules that are more stringent or that supplement those listed here.

Santa Springs Water Park is a family-friendly destination and guests are expected to behave properly and respect others.

  • Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and actively supervised.
  • Failure to listen to lifeguards may result in removal from the water park and/or Santa’s Village.
  • Lifeguards are responsible for enforcing safety rules and responding to emergencies. Not babysitting.
  • Only Approved Swimwear is Allowed in the Water
  • No Running In or Out of the Water
  • No Diving
  • No Rough Housing/Boisterous Play
  • Diaper Changing on the Pool Deck is Prohibited.
  • Riders Must go down all slides feet first on their back. No Head First Sliding. 
  • Admission to the water park area shall be refused to all persons having any contagious disease; any infectious conditions such as colds, fever, ringworm, foot infections, skin lesions, carbuncles, boils, diarrhea, vomiting, inflamed eyes, ear discharges; or any other condition that has the appearance of being infectious. Persons with excessive sunburn, abrasions that have not healed, corn plasters, bunion pads, adhesive tape, rubber bandages or other bandages of any kind also shall be refused admittance.
  • A person under the influence of alcohol or exhibiting erratic behavior shall not be permitted in the pool area.
  • All persons must take a shower before entering the pool area.
  • All children who are not toilet-trained shall wear tight fitting rubber or plastic pants. The use of swim diapers are required WITH proper swim wear.
  • Please do not wear eyeglasses or jewelry into the wet deck or on slides, as they may not be retrievable if lost.
  • Only clean footwear, baby strollers or wheelchairs are allowed in the pool area or bathhouse.
  • Footwear, other than aqua socks, are not allowed on the wet deck.
  • Aqua socks and footwear are not permitted on body slides.
  • For safety, all height, weight, and health restrictions are strictly enforced on all attractions.
  • Guests using slides will do so safely and will only go down the slide feet first on their back. All guests will follow posted safety signs and will ensure that all guests are clear before going down the slide.
  • The pool water is not suitable for drinking.  Avoid swallowing pool water. Spitting, spouting out water, blowing the nose or otherwise introducing contaminants into the pool is not permitted.
  • Food and drink is allowed on the dry deck and in cabanas only. Smoking is prohibited in the water park. Littering is prohibited.
  • Glass, soap, or other material that might create hazardous conditions or interfere with efficient operation of the water park shall not be permitted in the water park or on the pool deck.
  • If lightning is present, the water park will close until the lightning has passed, including a 15-minute period after the last lightning is observed. Management will have the final approval on the time of reopening.

  • Swim Briefs
  • Swim Diapers – Swimwear must be worn over Swim Diapers
  • Shor/Long Sleeve Rash Guard
  • Wetsuit
  • Religious Swimwear

Non-Approved Swimwear

  • Non-Swim Shirts
  • Athletic Shorts or Pants
  • Leggings
  • Compression Shorts
  • Running Shorts
  • Sports Bras
  • Denim Shorts
  • Under Garments
  • Non-Swim Diapers
  • Revealing Swimwear/Thongs/”Cheeky” Swimwear
  • Mesh/Sheer Clothing or cover-ups.
