TICKET FAQs

Santa’s Village is Chicagoland’s #1 destination for FUN!  Family reunions, corporate outings, picnics, large birthday parties – you name it, we can do it! Have more than 50 guests? Looking for a designated space for your group? Wanting to add a picnic food package?    

 

Give our group sales department a call at 847-426-6751 or email at sales@svdundee.com for more outing information and options! 

Click into the Buy Tickets and select Single Day Admissions. If looking to book a future date select Advanced Dated Admission. These tickets will need to be redeemed on the date chosen. If wanting to purchase a more flexible ticket, select Any Day/ Same Day ticket. These will allow you to visit the park the same operating day they are purchased or any operating day during the current season. The 2024 regular season runs May 12th-October 27th. 

You do not need to print your online tickets as long as you can present the barcode(s), located in your ticket confirmation email, on an electronic device (smartphone) at the main entrance doors.

 

To help us expedite processing, if you are presenting your ticket(s) on an electronic device (smartphone), please turn your screen brightness up and avoid black backgrounds surrounding your barcode(s).

Any ticket(s) requiring a transfer to another date will incur a minimum of $15.00 per ticket fee. Call (847) 426-6751 Option 4 for ticket transfers.

Yes, if passes have not sold out for the season you may upgrade your admission ticket to a Season Pass. Stop by the Upgrade Center or Gift Shop before exiting the park to take advantage of this in park only offer.

GENERAL FAQs

The safety of our guests and staff is our number one priority, and we have implemented several enhanced security procedures at the entrance to our park. As part of this process:

 

  • Guests will be required to pass through metal detection or additional security screening procedures prior to entering the park.
  • All bags, purses, backpacks, waist packs, etc. are subject to examination prior to entering.
  • While on Santa’s Village property, guests are subject to additional security screening or searches at any time. 
  • Please see our separate FAQ on outside food and coolers.

Restrictions are based on height and size requirements as well as health guidelines. Please follow the posted rules and instructions provided by the ride attendant and automated announcements. Illinois State Law and ride manufactures regulate accessibility. Every ride has its own specific restrictions.

  • Shirts and shoes are required throughout your entire visit at the park.
  • Waterpark attire is NOT allowed in the dry park areas.
  • Swimwear must be covered up while in the amusement park.
  • Mesh style clothing or thin scarfs are not an acceptable cover up. 
  • No clothing or body art which Santa’s Village determines to be rude, vulgar, or contains inflammatory language or graphics. Failure to follow park rules will be subject to ejection from the park.
  • No “Rollies” or “Wheelies” style shoes; wheels must be retracted or removed while in the park.

To participate in water park activities, guests must wear lined approved swimwear.

Guests are not allowed to enter water areas wearing street clothes, including but not limited to: cut-off shorts, denim clothing, basketball shorts, athletic clothing, sweatpants or sweatshirts.

Swimwear which is too provocative or revealing, including but not limited to: transparent, mesh-style material, thong style is prohibited. Appropriate swimwear must be worn at all times, including tops for female infant and toddler guests.

Outside food and coolers may not be brought into the park. The only food exceptions are for food allergies as described in a separate FAQ.

Each guest is welcome to bring one (1) single-size serving snack along with two (2) non-carbonated beverages. Sandwiches are not considered a snack. Commercially prepared food (ie. Wendy’s, Burger King etc.) are not permitted. Grills, glass containers and outside alcohol are not allowed on the premises. Tailgating is not permitted on premises. 

Guests who suffer from sensitive or life-threatening allergies may bring food into the park if they do not feel comfortable with the menu options available. In this case, the food must be limited to the individual with the allergy and may contain: two sealable sandwich bags (7 × 8 inches) to accommodate their visit. One small soft-sided cooler (no bigger than 8″ x 6″ x 6″) may be brought into the park to carry these items. Guests must call 24 hours in advance to arrange their cooler band. (847) 426-6751. Upon arrival, guests must ask at the security checkpoint to receive their cooler band.  ID may be required.

Santa’s Village accepts all major credit cards and debit cards as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Guests wishing to use cash may use one of our cash to card kiosks located outside both entrances and the restroom building located in the amusement park. These kiosks will provide a prepaid Visa gift card that can be used not only in the park, but anywhere Visa is accepted. There is no fee charged for using these kiosks. 

Since every guest may have a different tolerance to various weather conditions, rain checks will only be issued in the case that Santa’s Village must CLOSE due to inclement weather. Rain checks are not provided to Season Pass Holders. Receipts must be provided for exchange of rain checks.

A common list of items not allowed in the park are food, beverages, weapons of any type, laser pointers, radios and/or sound emitting electronic devices, drugs (legal or illegal) and skate shoes (Heely’s). Santa’s Village has final determination if an item is allowed in the park or not.

Guests will be required to follow all regulations established by Santa’s Village, the State of Illinois, County of Kane and Village of East Dundee, Illinois.

Yes! We encourage all guests to take as many photos as they like. No commercial photography is permitted without prior authorization from the marketing and public relations department. No cameras (video, still, cell phones, smart phones, selfie sticks, etc.) are permitted on any ride at any time.

By entering the park, guests grant Santa’s Village the right to film, record, video, or photograph on park property for any reason without payment or consideration. When professional photo shoots are being conducted, as a courtesy we will post information in park and make in park audio announcements. Keep in mind during this time some rides and attractions may be shut down for a limited amount of time and a sign will be posted.

For the health and safety of our guests we are a smoke-free park, including e-cigarettes. Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking area behind Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all other areas of the park.

Yes, lockers are located by the lower bathrooms at Santa Springs.

The First Aid and Lost Child Station is located at the front of the park next to the Funnel Cake Factory. A licensed Medical Technician is on duty at all times during regular park operating hours. Should you require First Aid assistance, please see any park employee.  There is also a First Aid station on the pool deck of Santa Springs.  This location is staffed with a licensed lifeguard.  

We suggest that at the beginning of your visit, you select a place within the park to meet if your group becomes separated. If a child is separated from you or your group, ask any employee for immediate assistance. Children appearing to be lost will be taken to the First Aid and Lost Child Station.

Yes, all found items are held at the lost and found located inside the First Aid/Lost Child station next to the Funnel Cake Factory. Please notify lost and found if you are missing an item. Ride operators and attendants are not responsible for articles left by guests at the ride stations. Please secure all loose articles before riding any rides. Santa’s Village nor its employees assume responsibility for the loss of or damage to personal property.

Yes, as long as you get your hand stamped at our Exit Gift Shops, you are allowed to leave and re-enter the park on the same day (i.e. go to your car).

There are not currently wagons for rent, but you are allowed to bring in personal wagons/strollers. Limited strollers are available for rental on a first come first serve basis at the Santa’s Village Upgrade Center. The rental fee is $15.00 a day with a valid photo ID to secure your rental.

Manual wheelchairs are available for rental on a first come first serve basis at our Main Lot Exit Gift Shop, located near the main entrance and exit gates. The rental fee is $25.00 a day with a valid photo ID to secure your rental. Santa’s Village does not have motorized scooters for rent, but guests with their own are permitted entry.
